Our Story

Reve Voyages was founded in 1998 with the aim of introducing adventure enthusiasts to unique destinations while connecting them with local cultures and people. In its early years, we operated with several french tour operators, offering organized trips in Upper and Lower Egypt as well as personalized travel experiences. Over time, we developed the desire to collaborate with international tour operators and agencies. This desire became a reality thanks to partnerships with agencies operating in Canada and Europe. Over the years, our agency has specialized in sailing cruises along the Nile. Today, we proudly offer our travelers the best experience available in our price range.

Dahabieh

The Dahabieh was used to travel along the Nile before the advent of steamships. Its name derives from the Arabic word for gold (Dahab) due to its traditional golden color. Its large sundeck and spacious rooms offer superior comfort. Its reliance on wind energy for movement allows travelers to enjoy the river in complete tranquility, making it easier to observe the Nile’s wildlife.

Sandal

These sailboats, used during the Pharaonic era, allow travelers to glide along the Nile with the wind. Measuring between 16 and 24 meters, our Sandals provide a comfortable way to admire both banks of the Nile from the deck. Wafaa Wadia

Operation Manager
Wafaa Wadia began her career as a licensed Egyptian tour guide, sharing the rich history of Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, and the Red Sea with travelers. Her hands-on experience at iconic sites like the Pyramids of Giza and the temples of Upper Egypt built her strong expertise in tourism operations and guest experience. As Operations Manager at Rêve Voyages, she oversees planning and logistics, ensuring every itinerary runs smoothly while delivering authentic, high-quality Egyptian hospitality.

Jacques Akar
